Training Policies

Customization: Courses may be customized at no cost by dropping lessons or adding a lesson from the additional topics.  Any additional customization will be done at $149.00/hour.

Lead Time:  We request a lead time of 2-3 weeks.

Payment: 50% of the payment is due upon signing of a service agreement.  The remainder is due upon completion of the course.

Additional Expenses: The price includes presentation of materials for 10 students.  Please add an additional $95.00 for each additional student.

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy:  Classes may be canceled for a full refund if the cancellation is made more than a month before the class is scheduled to begin.  Classes may be rescheduled if scheduling permits.  No refunds are available for cancellations made less then one month before classes are scheduled.

Sample Checklist for Ideal Classroom Setup

1. Installation of Java Virtual Machine (ideally 1.5 or higher) .  To test type java -version in command shell.
2. Installation of Apache Ant (1.6 or higher).  To test run ant -version in command shell.
3. Installation of Eclipse (3.1 or higher)
4. Installation of Altova XMLSpy(TM)
5. Setup of shared hard drive for training material and labs
6. Setup of shared printer (optional)

Build environments setup: Some classes teach participants how to create their own build environment.  For these classes participants should each bring their own laptop with at least 1GB free disk space.  Classroom experience will be enhanced if the above software is preloaded and tested.
